چکیده
In this paper, the nonlinear dynamic response of deep groove ball bearings with clearance was studied numerically. The imperfect connections raceways and rolling balls were established by contact elements. order to describe characteristics accurately, a hysteresis damping coefficient introduced into Hertz model, which represented dissipative term during contact–impact process. tangential force bodies obtained based on modified Coulomb friction model. Then, analysis model built. Meanwhile, experimental test platform various operation conditions built simulation utilized as demonstrative case conduct investigation. numerical results revealed that existence would change motion trajectory appearance different movement states (free, contact, penetration). addition, sliding features be changed variations in structural characteristics.

Statistical Investigation of the Fatigue Life of Deep-Groove Ball Bearings
Fatigue is an important factor in determining the service life of ball bearings. Bearing manufacturers are therefore constantly engaged in fatigue-testing operations in order to obtain information relating fatigue life to load and other factors. Several of the larger manufacturers have recently pooled their test data in a cooperative effort to set up uniform and standardized ball-bearing applic...
متن کاملA Nonlinear Dynamic Model With Confidence Bounds for Hydrodynamic Bearings
In conventional rotordynamic modeling, hydrodynamic bearings are often characterized by a set of linear stiffness and damping coefficients obtained from a first-order Taylor series expansion of bearing reactions. Theoretically, these coefficients are only valid for small amplitude motion about an equilibrium position. In this paper, a nonlinear dynamic model that overcomes the small amplitude a...
متن کاملAnalytical and Experimental Characterization of Ball-groove Contact Problems
Ball-groove contact problems are often encountered in machine design. The analytical modeling of the resulting stress-strain behavior is however difficult, as it implies the necessity to deal with the non-linear Hertzian theory of point contacts. This work addresses the limits of applicability of the available analytical approaches for the calculation of ball-V groove couplings employed in ultr...
متن کاملNonlinear vibration signature analysis of a rotor supported ball bearings
The dynamic behaviour of a high speed balanced rotor supported on deep groove ball bearings (SKF-6205) has been studied by numerically simulated results. Since, internal radial clearance (IRC) is inevitably present in all class and types of bearing, in this paper it (IRC-C3) is considered as main source of nonlinearity with speed as control parameter. The complex mathematical model simulates no...
